VYATSKAYA CC&I: YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW
Vyatskaya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, incorporated in the system of CC&I RF, was founded in March, 1993 by the business circles of the Kirov region as a non-commercial organization, with the aim to present and protect interests of enterprises and entrepreneurs of various forms of ownership. In 1997 VCC&I obtained accreditation in CC&I RF.
Today there are about 500 enterprises in VCC&I. Legal base of activities of the Chamber are the Law of RF "On Chambers of Commerce and Industry in RF" on the state level, and on the regional level - agreements between Chamber of Commerce and Industry and administrations of Kirov region and of the city of Kirov, represented by a governor of region V.N. Sergeenkov and a mayor of the city V.A. Kiselyov, and also with a number of federal structures.
To provide the enterprise practical assistance concerning the matters of formation and conducting economic activities, the Chamber implements:
- consultations on informational and methodical provision, conducts marketing researches
- assistance in searching business partners, including organizing of business missions to the regions of Russia
- assistance in development and protection of trademarks
- business meetings, district and region conferences, training seminars with the help of leading specialists of Russia, presentations of products and services, exhibitions
- assistance in developing business- plans (which is the main condition for investment attraction)
- defense and representation of the entrepreneurs' interests in the authority institutions
VCC&I provides its members with a broad variety of services, aiming for broadening and strengthening business contacts with Russian and foreign partners, improving the qualification of specialists, informational provision of the enterprise.
The high- qualified specialists of VCC&I give legal, expert, customs consultations, make translations from foreign languages, arrange presentations for public and mass media.
To develop the external contacts, to draw the investors the cooperation with embassies and trade representations of Israel, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Sweden, Finland, Italy. Macedonia and other countries has been established.
In accordance with new economic realities the spectrum of services had been considerably extended, the new directions of work were mastered- state registration of rights of demesne and transactions with it; appraisal of demesne; work in the securities market, protection of intellectual property.
Among the special purpose programmes, realized by Vyatskaya CC&I, the positions strengthening of the enterprises of region on the internal and external markets by means of broadening of exhibition-trade activities and arranging of business missions in the Russian regions and abroad takes important part. "The Days of Kirov Region" in Komi Republic, Nizhny Novgorod and business missions to the cities Surgut, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Perm, Ukhta and others, admittance of business missions from the cities Perm, Ryazan, Vologda, Mordva Republic showed to advantage.
Training and Business Centre of VCC&I continues to collaborate actively with the leading educational centres of Russia on the such actual lines as corporate strategy of enterprise management, practical marketing, arranging and stimulating of sale of enterprise products, modern approaches to the organization of work with the personnel, education of professional accountants and securities specialists, professional auditors and others.
In accordance with new economic realities VCC&I began to realize the cooperation work with federal structures with the purpose to hinder the spreading of falsified, low-grade and counter-fact products. The work with emitters on the securities market, especially in the field of fulfillment of demands of the Law about information's disclosing for the shareholders: by VCC&I the Public Council on development of stock market of Kirov region was founded, the special supplement to the magazine "Mercury" -"Stock Mercury" is published.
VCC&I provides law support of the entrepreneurs, including the assistance in drawing up of juridical documents, solving the arguments in arbitration.
VCC&I gives more and more importance to the activities on development of modern business culture. In 2002 together with CC&I RF and National Fund "Russian Business Culture" Vyatskaya CC&I organized and conducted interregional scientific- practical conference "The problems of increasing the level of business culture in Russia". To reveal and encourage the managers of enterprises of the city of Kirov and Kirov region for the important contribution to the development of production, creating of image of products, participation in social significant measures, introduction of principles of corporate ethics at the enterprise, Vyatskaya CC&I realizes the programmes: "Entrepreneur of the year", "Director of the year", "Master of business".
With the aim of more efficient informational exchange VCC&I, except publishing business magazine "Merkury", realizes weekly informational E-mail sending for all its members, and distributes the information through Internet.
